Proverbs 16:31 Gray hair is a crown of glory;
it is gained by living a godly life.
Praise God. I so much believe that God’s words doesn’t fail, and every of His words is spoken for a reason.
I have heard stories that are so ridiculous and unthoughtful, which got me laughing with pity in my heart for the people with such understanding.
Being old with gray hairs is an evil thing to some people, for some of the old people I pity them because of the insults and humiliations they go through every day.
“Someone said to me that in her village people go around killing the old people calling them witches, another said to me there is a woman that lived till her eyes fell off, to he she doesn’t deserve to live till that age. I find this attitude common among Africans, if a person have any default automatically such is a witch or evil person and if he/she is old with gray white hairs then no two ways about it, they are witches.
Please my beloved brethren let us stop such evil thoughts and grow in wisdom and love, God Himself promised to take care of us till our gray hair “Isaiah 46:4, that is because He understood and still understand what gray hair means.
Please note: growing old till the level of having gray hairs is a thing of joy because it is a crown of glory, it is a gain for living a Godly life. So let us be careful not to speak ill about God’s promises/doings.
Proverbs 20:29 The glory of the young is their strength; the gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old.
Let us celebrate this people instead of mocking them, because one day you might get to that stage. Change your attitude.
