Being A Doer And Not Just A Hearer

 

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Praise God. The Gospel is heard everyday from every means. You hear the Gospel in social medias, open air evangelism, in the gathering of the brethren (church), you read from the scripture, you might even be a preacher.

 Do you put these words you have heard or preach to practice?

Remember these words you have heard if not put to practice will stand as a condemnation to you at last. 

The scripture said do not commit fornication, you know that but you still commit fornication, nor steal, lying etc and after doing them, you try to justify yourself. You are just deceiving yourself, if you do not change, on the last day your excuses will not justify you.

The scripture says "For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:  For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was."

James 1:23‭-‬24

It is time to put to practice all the Lord has instructed you to do. Time waits for no man and the end is near.
